Why we are coming to Puerto Rico

Puerto Rico asks more of a technology partner than most markets, and a lot of the businesses we talk to have been managing on their own because nobody local was offering what they needed.

Two things make the island genuinely different. The first is power. Grid reliability is a real operating constraint, not a footnote in a contract, and it changes how infrastructure should be designed. Backup power, cloud failover and tested recovery procedures are baseline requirements here rather than upgrades. The second is weather. Hurricane season turns disaster recovery from a compliance checkbox into something you will actually use, and a plan that has never been tested is not a plan.

On top of that, the island has drawn a steady flow of mainland companies relocating under Puerto Rico's tax incentive programmes, alongside an established pharmaceutical and medical device manufacturing base. Both groups arrive with real compliance obligations and often without local IT support that understands them.

What you can do now

A lot of what we do does not require somebody on the island. Monitoring, security operations, cloud work, Microsoft 365 administration and help desk all run remotely today, and several of our clients have never met us in person. If you need support before our local team is in place, we can start now and hand over as the office opens.
